Working in collaboration with the client, Witt O’Brien’s developed an environmental auditing program to complement the customer’s environmental policies, practices, and procedures and ensure compliance with current regulations and requirements. In the process, the team also bench-marked industry leading best management practices. The program implemented was developed through several years of providing on-board technical assistance to more than 1000 vessels. Witt O’Brien’s marine technical professionals are experts at identifying risks to ensure compliance and alleviate, correct, or remedy alleged environmental and MARPOL-related violations. This program systematically facilitates increased environmental preparedness, eliminating the risks associated with non-compliance, while guiding companies along a path to enhancing their environmental performance and processes.
